Stainless steel is easy to live with. Wipe the bar with a soft dry cloth to keep its shine — it won't tarnish or rust, and the engraving is cut into the metal, so it can't wear away.
The braided cord handles water fine. Just let it air dry rather than leaving it damp, and it'll keep its shape and colour.

The cord slides through a small metal bead, so there's no size to choose. Pull the ends to tighten or loosen until it sits comfortably — it fits most wrists, from slim to larger.
